Employment Law Case Going to Trial

Recently, we received a call from a client who worked in Los Angeles County. The client was harassed in the workplace and wanted to know if she was required to go to trial or if she would be able to settle the case. Generally speaking, both options are available. Oftentimes, the courts will require us to go to mediation or some type of settlement conference to try to get the case resolved. Sometimes, cases go to trial, and sometimes cases end up getting settled.
